World Book Day

On World Book Day we dressed up as a word! I dressed up as the word "gamer" and I enjoyed seeing everyone's different outfits because it made me learn some new words. Mrs Williams was 'monochrome' and I had never heard this word before. We also read the story "The Lost Thing" which had brilliant pictures. The whole school read the book and did different activities. It was all about a thing that didn't belong anywhere until a boy helped it to fit in. We talked about this in my class and said everybody should be kind like the boy in the story and help others to fit in. In the afternoon we did a word parade on the playground where we all got to show off our words. Salisbury class then over to Gloucester to share their work from the day. It was great fun!
