Safeguarding

Should you have any worries or concerns regarding the safety of any child within the school, please contact one of the safeguarding officers immediately who will be able to listen to your concerns. If your concern is life-threatening or a child is in an immediate danger please contact the Police on 999.

 

Our Child Protection Policy can be viewed at the bottom of the page (paper copies can be requested via the office). Nyewood CE Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and there is an expectation of all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff within school, no matter their role, undertake regular safeguarding training throughout the school year to ensure they have the relevant knowledge and skills to keep all of our children safe.
