Nyewood Church of England Junior School
Vision for Sustainability and Climate Education
Our Vision
At Nyewood Church of England Junior School, our vision is rooted in our Christian faith and the belief that all people are called to be good stewards of God’s creation. Guided by our school’s Christian vision and values, we seek to educate and nurture children to live wisely, act justly, and care responsibly for the world entrusted to them.
Through high-quality education, collective worship, and lived experiences, we aim to equip our pupils, staff, and wider community with the knowledge, understanding, and hope needed to respond thoughtfully and positively to climate change and sustainability challenges.
Our worship, curriculum, and daily practices will reflect our commitment to being good stewards of the Earth, inspired by Genesis 2:15: "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."
