  • Outdoor Worship

  • Key Worker Notice

    Sun 22 Mar 2020
    KEY WORKER NOTICE
The Government has made it clear that if you are a key worker it is important to keep your children home wherever possible and only send them into school if they absolutely need to attend.
Do not place your child, other people’s children, their families and Nyewood staff at risk of infection by bringing them onsite if there are safe alternatives. The fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals.
If your child is currently in isolation as a result of themselves or any other family member showing symptoms of Covid 19, attendance will not be allowed until after the 14 isolation period has ended.
As the week progresses and more information about demand is known and staffing levels, adjustments may be needed. This will result in action against a priority list. If required to be acted on, this will be shared and specific offers made individually and the retraction of others.
Thank you once again for your cooperation and support during this challenging time.

We are pleased to inform you that our school will be benefiting from an exciting and extensive building project which will greatly improve our school buildings and the learning environment at Nyewood CE Juniors.

This project will comprise of a new build of a school hall together with renovation/improvement work which includes a new front entrance, new office area and improved facilities for children, staff and visitors to our school.

As you will have noticed the first phase of these works has begun and they have a projected completion date of August 2020.

We will keep the children and yourselves fully updated throughout to ensure that important developments and changes to any organisational procedures are clearly communicated.
