  • Lichfield's Mini Beasts

    Mon 19 Jun 2023

In Lichfield, we have been looking at the different features of mini beasts and how we could use them to design our own creature. After we designed, we cut out our template on paper before pinning onto our chosen colour of felt material. Once we had successfully sewn our minibeast we decided to challenge ourselves to creating our own cushion using material from old clothes. At the beginning of the week the children were quite reluctant and unsure of their sewing skills however as the week progressed it has been wonderful to see their independence and confidence grow. I have been so proud of all of the children's sheer determination and resilience they have shown this project and hope they are all proud of their hard work. Thank you, Lichfield, for another amazing week of learning!
