Parent & Staff Association

All parents, carers and staff are automatically members of the Parent & Staff Association (PSA), which plays a crucial role in the success of our school.  With budgets being tightened, the role of the PSA is even more important than ever and can make a real difference to the learning experiences that our children encounter.  Meetings are held approximately once every half term, normally at 3.30pm to make it easier for people to attend, as well as a crèche being provided.

  PSA Committee

Our current committee for the PSA are as follows:

            Chairperson:              Mr Colin Gayle

            Vice-Chairperson:       Mrs Cherylee Theron

            Secretary:                 Mrs Becky Jones

            Treasurer:                 Mrs Lisa Albert

In the academic year 2015/16, the PSA raised in excess of £3,000, which is fantastic which meant they were able to pay for music lessons for every child in Year 3 as well equipment for the playground and books for classroom areas.  The PSA also help to fund the Year 6 Leavers' Gifts, Pizza on the field, Christmas Dinner and Year 6 Oscars.

This Christmas (2016) we raised approximately £1,700 at our annual Christmas Fair.

In recent years, funds raised by the PSA have been used to purchase the audio equipment, iPads, guided reading books, sporting equipment and art materials.

We are always looking for help and it doesn’t have to be a major commitment.  Simply helping out on a stall at a fair or serving refreshments at the discos.  If you would like more information about the PSA or would like to offer your support then please contact the school office.

We hold a number of fundraising events throughout the academic year, some of which are detailed below:

Quiz night, Bingo, Discos, Christmas Fair, Summer Fair and many more .......

Why not come along and join the fun!
